What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with the Chief Legal Officer to streamline legal workflows, processes, and systems.
- Review and draft contracts, ensuring compliance with local legislation across multiple countries.
- Develop and manage our contract lifecycle through contract management software, ensuring key deadlines and milestones are met.
- Provide legal support to internal teams, helping them navigate compliance, labor, and privacy issues.
- Attend client and supplier meetings to address legal queries and provide expert advice.
- Create and maintain legal documents, checklists, guides, and standard drafts for various departments.
- Organize and manage internal legal files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for reporting purposes.
- Identify opportunities for standardizing processes across legal functions to enhance efficiency.
Who We’re Looking ForWe’re searching for a motivated legal professional who thrives in a dynamic environment. You’ll have the chance to wear many hats, grow your legal skills, and play an integral role in Powerdot’s journey. Ideal candidates will have:
- 4 – 5 years of legal experience with a specialization in contracts and compliance.
- Registration with the French Bar Association (Le Barreau).
- A strong desire to move beyond traditional law firms and make an impact in the tech/scale-up world.
- A passion for understanding how legal frameworks impact business growth and operations.
- Fluent French and English language skills (additional languages are a plus!).
- A knack for organization and attention to detail.
- A collaborative mindset, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with contract management systems and strong proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office tools.
- An entrepreneurial spirit with the autonomy and resourcefulness needed to keep pace with Powerdot’s rapid growth.
