Charging your car should feel as natural as charging your phone. That’s the future we’re building: a network of EV chargers where life happens. We don’t just install chargers. We accelerate sustainable mobility. We believe in strong partnerships. We grow continuously: our network, our partners, and ourselves.
If you’re here, you’re probably not looking for “just a job.” Neither are we. 😎 We’re driven by impact and always looking for people who enjoy turning ambitious ideas into reality. If that sounds like you, you’ll fit right in. We’re looking for people who see challenges as opportunities, thrive in fast-growing and dynamic environments, and want to help shape the future of mobility. At Powerdot, you’ll have autonomy, ownership, and responsibility. The freedom to test new ideas. The opportunity to scale your impact. And a team that is constantly pushing boundaries.
🚀 About this Role
Safety is not just a requirement at Powerdot — it’s a core part of how we operate across multiple countries, thousands of charging points, and a growing team of Field Technicians. As our Central H&S Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining our Health & Safety framework, ensuring every Technician can work safely every day. As part of the Central Operations team, you’ll transform regulatory requirements into practical and scalable processes that Local Teams can apply effectively. Your mission is to strengthen a proactive safety culture where incidents and near-misses are openly reported, audits drive meaningful improvements, and safety is embedded into every field intervention.
How You’ll Shape Our Story:
Your day-to-day will include:
- Developing and managing H&S processes across all markets — defining standards, creating procedures, and continuously improving how we ensure safety in the field.
- Driving the Safety Roadmap and strategic initiatives — managing the execution of Powerdot’s Safety Roadmap, tracking milestones, identifying obstacles, and ensuring initiatives are successfully implemented.
- Bridging Legal and Field Operations — collaborating with the Legal Team to monitor regulatory changes and working with Local Field Operations to ensure compliance through clear and practical field procedures.
- Managing the Tools & Safety Gear lifecycle — overseeing the process for Field Technician equipment, including defining requirements, managing procurement and tracking processes, and monitoring the validity of safety equipment through internal tools.
- Coordinating H&S Training & Audits — organizing safety onboarding for new Technicians, annual refresher training, and local training initiatives. You’ll also oversee audit activities, including safety checks and field audits, ensuring findings lead to measurable improvements.
- Acting as the central H&S point of contact — supporting Local Teams with safety-related questions, maintaining decision-making guidelines and FAQs, assisting Local Safety Champions, and encouraging open communication around safety topics.
- Driving Safety OKRs & reporting — defining safety metrics, incident classifications, near-miss reporting processes, root cause analysis, and leading indicators. You’ll contribute to achieving a zero-incident culture and recognizing safety achievements.
This Is About You, Not Us 🫵🏼:
- 2 years of experience in Health & Safety, operational risk, or a similar coordination role, ideally within multi-site or field-based operations such as construction, utilities, logistics, or EV charging.
- A process-oriented mindset — you don’t just follow processes; you improve and develop them.
- Regulatory awareness — you can understand and apply H&S regulations across different countries and operational environments.
- Training and audit experience — you have experience organizing training programs and conducting or coordinating audits.
- Knowledge of tools and PPE management — you understand equipment lifecycles, including selection, procurement, maintenance, calibration, and replacement, and can manage supplier relationships for safety-related equipment.Experience with ISO 45001 is considered a plus.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills — you can work effectively with Legal, Operations, Finance, and Local Teams while maintaining clear communication.
- Data-driven and systems-oriented — comfortable using field management tools, dashboards, and reporting solutions to monitor and present safety performance.
- Languages: Fluent English (our working language) is required. Portuguese, French, Spanish, or Polish are considered valuable assets.
- A strong safety mindset and the ability to remain calm under pressure — when incidents occur, you follow established processes, support investigations, and help implement lessons learned.
The Kind of Energy We’re Looking For:
- We’re not focused on titles, egos, or corporate jargon. We’re focused on people who deliver results.
- You lead and collaborate. Whether guiding initiatives or supporting your teammates, you encourage open communication and teamwork.
- You take ownership. You identify opportunities, act proactively, and continuously look for ways to improve.
- You care about sustainability. You want your work to contribute to a more sustainable future.
- You combine ambition with balance. You enjoy working closely with others while recognizing the importance of maintaining your energy.
